Back to XML to JSON Converter

Privacy Policy

This page explains how the converter handles your data and what to consider when using optional browser features.

XML you convert

When you paste XML or select a file from your device, the conversion is performed in your browser. The conversion workflow does not upload that XML to XmlToJsonTool.com’s application server. Your input and output remain in the browser page unless you choose to copy, download, or otherwise share them.

Importing XML from a URL

If you use the optional Load URL feature, your browser sends a request to the URL you enter. The destination server may receive information normally included in a web request, such as your IP address, and browser cross-origin rules may prevent the import. The URL request is made directly by your browser, not through our conversion server. Only enter URLs you trust and have permission to access.

Theme preference and hosting

The site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. This preference is not sent to us as part of conversion. Like most websites, the hosting or delivery provider may process standard connection information in server logs to deliver and protect the site; how long such logs are retained depends on the provider’s configuration.

Third-party resources

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google may receive connection information under its own policies. You can block external requests in your browser, though that may change how the site looks.

No contact form or account

The site does not currently offer user accounts or a contact form. Do not include private or sensitive information in content you choose to load from a third-party URL or share outside your device.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when site features or practices change. Please review this page again after a significant update.
